Karin Creekmore
Executive Assistant
Karin is our Studio Z “organization sensation” who wears many hats (which all look amazing on her BTW). From acting as the first point of contact our clients meet to facilitating the daily ins and outs of our busy architecture firm, where would we be without Karin? (We don’t wanna know!)
So, why is this wonderful human our Executive Assistant? Aside from graduating with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, which coincidentally is the alma mater of Studio Z’s founder, Dawn Zuber—yes, we have two Bearcats here in Wolverine territory!—Karin has also been a licensed real estate professional since 2012 and is no stranger to the architecture and construction industry. In fact, you could say she grew up in it.
Karin gained her rich industry knowledge through her parents’ business—a civil engineering and land surveying firm, which provided her insight and experience into project research, fieldwork, using CAD, and anything else she could learn to do to help with the business.
That hands-on early education, and her degree in business admin, served as a solid foundation for launching her career in the construction industry, where she gained administrative and project-based experience, often in coordination with architecture firms, managing the business operations for the engineering company.
Karin’s business background and deep understanding of the architecture, engineering, and construction industry make her a natural as Studio Z’s Executive Assistant. A front-end project mastermind with a talent for zoning and survey data, Karin loves helping us improve processes so our design team can focus on what we do best: designing beautiful homes.
When she isn’t at work skillfully balancing multiple projects at once, welcoming our clients into our firm, and helping us stay on track, Karin can be found “mom-ing” her incredible teenage daughter and traveling the country with her daughter’s national volleyball team. And, though Karin is a proud mom, she steers clear of the typical minivan. Instead, her personal passion is zooming around in her octane red Dodge Challenger.
