Three Season Room Addition

Studio Z has designed several screened porches and three-season rooms. This particular one was designed to replace an unused small covered patio. The screen panels are behind sliding flexible vinyl windows which can telescope all the way up or down to provide 75% openness. The porch is open on three sides so that air can flow through during the summer, while the sliding vinyl panels provide protection from rain and wind during cooler times of the year.

The ceilings are tongue-and-groove Douglas fir beadboard, and the floors are tongue-and-groove Douglas fir porch flooring. The wood surfaces provide a warm feeling to this space.
